No More Indecision

Back in April, I made a post where I was completely losing my mind over Roblox pushing out their new publishing requirements.

I was genuinely scared. I was standing at a complete standoff, looking at 8 years of history since 2017, absolutely paralyzed that moving away would throw all our hard-earned progress straight down the cosmic drain.

Well, fuck that fear. The standoff is officially over.

We made the gamble. We completely halted development on ROBLOX and permanently turned our backs on that platform entirely.

It wasn't an easy choice considering 98% of my team only knew the inside of the ROBLOX engine, but we refused to tolerate corporate greed dictating our workflows or compromising our integrity. We moved to Godot, we've been putting in the work, and the spark in this team has never burned hotter.

The 5 to 10 Year Horizon

But let's be entirely transparent here: Godot is our bridge, it is not our final destination. While we master this framework and push our current pipeline of 6 unreleased games (4 of them unannounced) to completion to self-fund our operations without corporate dependencies, something massive has been brewing in the darkness.

We are engineering a future where independent creators will never have to bow down to a multi-billion-dollar corporate gatekeeper again. No commission fees, no sudden rug-pulls, and no investor-driven bloat.

If that requires me to drag REDTOPS Enterprise kicking and screaming back into the sunlight to revive our legacy custom tools like Redline and Amberlink to bypass their limitations, then so help me, WE'LL FUCKING DO IT.

Parafield is moving forward, with or without the tech industry's permission. We will never go public, we will never take investor money, and we will burn our own studio to the ground in a full-on internal civil war before we let an outsider own a single byte of our future.
